I cannot say, and I will not say That he is dead. He is just away. With a cheery smile, and a wave of the hand, He has wandered into an unknown land And left us dreaming how very fair.
It needs must be, since he lingers there.
And you—oh you, who the wildest yearn For an old-time step, and the glad return, Think of him faring on, as dear
In the love of There as the love of Here.
Think of him still as the same. I say, He is not dead—he is just away.”
And soon we all be together
In the land of our Creators,
Seeking the blessings of our Lord, We’ll be in heaven
Together for ever

Its indeed one of those sad days when we lost our other brothers during our student years and after. As Sohail correctly mentioned that it was hard to absorb Wamiq’s news. I clearly remember that his roll number was 590 as mine was 591 and he uses to be seated always in front of me during all examinations.
We were always on the opposite side of the divide during Student Politics days. Him being a die hard worker of GREEN while I was one of the few REDS.But when it came to exams, we used to get indulge in all activities of any two friendly and helpful neighboring co-exam taker. I hope Zafar Khursheed, Tanvir, Usman Bhai too would remember those memorable days.
His signature style smile and thick moustache still haunt when I think of him.
Wamiq will always be remembered and yes he seems to be just away from us….
May Allah give us all the sabr to bear this great loss”.
A very sad news. Our friend Wamaq Badar suffered a heart failure this morning. He could not survive. Inna Lillah e Wa Inna Elahe Rajeoon. He was laid to rest after Jummah prayer. May Allah rest his soul in peace, blessed him with maghfirah, give him the highest place in Jannah and sabr to his family. Aameen. Jawaid
This is a very sad news and a shock. My prayers are with his family and I pray for his maghfarat and may Allah bless him in Jannah. Masroor and Lubna
He was a good friend and neighbor. I have spend lot of memorable time with him. Very difficult to reconcile with the brutal reality. May Allah give him a place in Jannah and forgive his and our sins. It is a reminder to all of us that the clock is ticking. Khawaja Aftab
